Welcome to Tabletop SL. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tabletop SL website and mobile application (the "Service") operated by Tabletop SL ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Accounts

You may browse events on the website without an account. To RSVP to events, manage your profile, or use the mobile app, you must create an account using Google or email and password through our authentication provider, Clerk.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate and current information in your profile

3. Guest RSVPs

You may RSVP to events without an account by providing your name and phone number. By submitting a guest RSVP, you consent to event organizers viewing your name and phone number for event management purposes.

4. Event Attendance

When you RSVP to an event, you agree to:

  • Attend the event if your RSVP status is "Attending"
  • Cancel your RSVP promptly if you can no longer attend, so others on the waitlist may take your spot
  • Follow any event-specific rules set by the organizer

We reserve the right to track attendance patterns (such as no-shows) to help organizers manage events effectively.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Create fake accounts or RSVP under false information
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or event attendees
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
  • Scrape, mine, or collect data from the Service without permission

6. Event Organization

If you are an event organizer, you additionally agree to:

  • Provide accurate event information (date, time, location, capacity)
  • Use attendee data (including guest phone numbers) only for event management purposes
  • Not share attendee personal information with third parties without consent
  • Comply with all applicable laws regarding event hosting

7. Notifications

By enabling push notifications or providing your contact information, you consent to receiving event reminders, RSVP updates, and other service-related notifications. You can manage your notification preferences in the app settings at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Tabletop SL and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and branding may not be used without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for the conduct of event organizers or attendees at events listed on our platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tabletop SL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages related to events attended through the platform.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the Service. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
